The farm is nestled in between Chianti Classico vineyards and stretches over more than 100 ha. The main building consists of one big, neat manor of the 16th century once belonging to the noble family of Ferdinando Strozzi princes and afterword to the baron Giorgio Sonnino. The villa boasts a majestic facade, dominating the landscape from the top of a gentle hill, 500 meters sea-level. It is currently run as luxury hotel at a short distance from Gaiole in Chianti, in province of Siena in a context of pure nature. The villa is bound to the Department of Architectural and Environmental resources.

It measures more than 2000 square meters over three levels and holds a total of 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. It has a regular and symmetrical layout and features a wonderful courtyard, a vegetable garden and various vaulted cellars excavated from the rock with old vine vats. All the internal spaces are characterized by the typical Tuscan houses' architectural features: rustic wooden beams, wide arches and vaults, hand-made cotto floors and antique Tuscan stone fireplaces. Inside the flavours of the past are still vivid: gorgeous, wall decorations dated 16th century, neat furniture and ancient books.

It provides four different entrances on the ground floor. From the principal entrance we get in a wide central atrium that leads to two main corridors linked to the various rooms and to the staircases up to the first floor. One of these grand rooms in the ground floor has fantastic floral walls decorations. The house is furnished with a modern kitchen, wide walk- in larder and a back entrance. The first floor provides, similarly as the ground floor, a big entry room which is linked to the main outer staircase and to the garden.

The scenografic facade was restored between 1914 and 1919 by the architect Ludovico Fortini who also added the massive step of flights and all decorations that enriched the inner spaces.

In the sale a stone country house of the '500 and a 70 square meters shed are also comprised. The country house is divided in apartments for a total surface of 450 square meters and seven bedroom. 

The small private chapel, located in tranquil position, is dedicated to Santa Maria Maddalena de 'Pazzi and dated 1584. It was restored in Neo-Renaissance style during the XX century.

The property land is made up of about 8 ha of prime Chianti Classico vineyard, 6 ha of olive groves and the rest of woodland.
